Formwork selection should be based on project scale, geology and construction conditions. For municipal and residential projects, plastic formwork or aluminum alloy formwork is preferred for its portability and decorativeness. For heavy-duty projects such as transportation and water conservancy, large steel formwork is the first choice; segmented steel formwork is used for walls over 5 meters high. For special geological conditions, customized steel formwork with reinforcing ribs is adopted.
